Frequently asked questions.

What are we raising money for?

In addition to general operations, we are looking to hire full-time employees in 2024, and covering salaries and benefits will far and away be our most significant cost. Our program will take cohorts of people (shooting for 20-25 to start) through a 6-month program, including supplementing their cost of living while in the program, providing weekly family dinners for participants (leaders) and volunteers (allies), regular meetings with a support coach, a weekend retreat, counseling, computers for course work, and many other expenses.

What programs/services do we offer?

In addition to the core soft and hard skill training, we provide the following.

  • Stipend for leaders to offset reduced time to work during the program.

  • Community Events (Semi-annual Retreat, Weekly Family Dinner)

  • Opt-In Opportunities (Counseling Services, Bible Study, Relationship Classes)

  • Financial Services (Ramsey training, Coaching Sessions, Financial Peace University)

Why do we call our students leaders?

While we offer services to train and facilitate, our leaders are more than passively absorbing information. They are forging a new path to lead themselves, their family, and those around them out of the generational curse of poverty in all forms. In this way, they are not merely students but influential leaders and agents of change.
