Family Gatherings
We have a family gathering every Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm. These gatherings include food, games, and child care. We need volunteers to come alongside our program participants for these events. Ideally, this would be a 6-month commitment.
Retreat
We have a retreat that is Friday night and then Saturday morning at City of Refuge Church in mid-April. We need volunteers to come alongside our program participants and take part in our community.
Mock Interview
We have a mock interview day once a quarter to allow our program participants to practice as they prepare to get new jobs. This is a great time to give advice and build up our participants
Canvassing
We have several days when we canvas subsidized apartments, bus stops, Goodwill stores, and more around the 3rd Ward of Houston. We want to make sure that people in the are are aware of our program.
